ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us for a three-day adaptive soccer experience built for connection, competition, and community.

From Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, 2025, the United Adaptive Soccer Association (UASA) invites athletes from across the country to the fully accessible North Shore Sports Center in Northbrook, just outside Chicago.

This national event brings together players across six adaptive soccer pathways: Amputee, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Dwarfism, Intellectual Disability (ID), Power Soccer, and Pan-Disability Recreation.

Over 70 players from more than 20 states, ranging in ages from 9 to 45, are expected to participate.

The camp is designed to support a wide range of disability experiences with individualized access, dedicated coaching, and inclusive training environments.

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or emerging talent, you’ll experience high-level instruction in an environment that values inclusion and excellence.

FAQS

The camp is open to a wide range of ages:

  • The Competitive Pathway programs are for players ages 10 and up, with some disciplines specifying age ranges (e.g., 10–18 for Amputee Soccer, 12+ for Power Soccer).

  • The Recreation Pathway is open to all ages, including younger or new-to-sport participants.

The camp welcomes players from all disability categories, including but not limited to:

  • Amputee (upper and lower limb differences)

  • Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

  • Dwarfism (under 149 cm)

  • Users of assistive technology or mobility aids (including power chairs and frames)

    and more…

  • Free, player-centered training sessions

  • Community-building

  • Pan-disability environment

All training is indoors on turf & court at North Shore Sports Center.

Primarily with players in your disability pathway, with some mixed opportunities.

Parent/Guardians can travel with player(s). However, players are strongly encouraged to room with another player. Room blocks will be available at a discounted rate for parents/guardians staying separately. To maintain focus and independence during camp and trainings, spectators will only be allowed to observe trainings on Sunday, July 27th. We’ll share more details closer to the event.

We try to match by disability, age, and gender identity. Roommate assignments go out the week before camp.

UASA is proudly known for being well-staffed and deeply values reciprocal leadership. As our competitive players grow in independence as athletes, they often give back by stepping into volunteer “buddy” roles when extra help is needed. Because of this built-in support system, we are not seeking additional volunteer buddies at this time.

  • CP & Amputee: shinguards & cleats/turf shoes (no metal)
  • Dwarf: shinguards & flat futsal shoes
  • Power: Strikeforce or equivalent sport chair
  • All players: bring flat-bottom shoes for crossover play

3 full kits (red, navy, blue jerseys with blue shorts + white socks). Modifications allowed if needed.

Yes, parts of the camp may be photographed or filmed, and we’re working to invite media to help raise awareness and visibility for adaptive soccer. For the first time ever, UASA is partnering with a special service that will make images accessible to players within 24 hours or less of camp.

Photography is allowed during Sunday’s showcase, unless otherwise notified by staff.

You’re welcome to reach out to info@unitedadaptivesoccer.com with any questions about the event, accommodations, or registration.
