Inclusive sports are smart sports

UASA works with destination marketing organizations, event

to grow the reach of adaptive soccer across the country.

Here’s how your organization can plug in…

  • Add adaptive events or experiences to your annual sports calendar.

  • Include UASA in bid packages or as a resource when evaluating event inclusivity.

  • Invite us to train your team on accessibility best practices.

  • Audit your fields and facilities with our adaptive soccer lens.

  • Add adaptive sessions to current sports events or camps.

  • Host coaching clinics, player ID camps, or adaptive exhibitions.

  • Explore integrated or parallel programming that is inclusive by design.

  • Create inclusive products or co-branded UASA merch.

  • Offer disability representation and adaptive-friendly sizing or features.

  • Be featured in our preferred vendor list.

  • Offer accessible transportation, sensory supports, or adaptive tech.

  • Become a UASA Adaptive-Friendly Partner.

Leadership Development & Engagement

We believe in building the future of adaptive sport through reciprocal leadership, creating opportunities that are intentional, collaborative, and mutually beneficial.

Our spring internship cohort has now been filled, but internships are just one part of how we engage and invest in emerging leaders.

We work with individuals to create meaningful ways to get involved based on their skills, interests, and goals.

Opportunities may include:

AYSO Coach Adam Webb, stands holding hands with two young TOPSoccer players, encouraging them as they ready themselves to begin a fun soccer drill

Volunteer roles with real ownership and impact

Nico Calabria, captain of the U.S. Amputee Soccer Men's National Team, tries out Blind Soccer, wearing a visor, coached by a Blind Soccer player

In-kind and project-based contributions

Michel Tume speaks to a young attendee at a sports tourism event

Mentorship and professional development support

Jasela, a dwarf soccer for the U.S. Women's National Team, holds up a clipboard as she prepares to lead a coaching session

Future internship opportunities, as they become available

This approach ensures that every engagement is not just about supporting UASA’s mission –
but also about developing the people who help move it forward.
