United Adaptive Soccer Association (UASA) was founded in 2023 by a group of like-minded individuals with the intent to “move the needle” for accessibility in soccer. Composed of eight different disability soccer organizations serving players of varying abilities and competition levels, UASA endeavors to provide opportunities to and advocate for soccer players with disabilities never before seen in the American soccer community.
We are inclusive of all ages, races, gender identities, and abilities regardless of one’s category and impact of disability. Every player deserves to participate in a way that is meaningful and realistic.
This is our goal – so all may play.

It was fun being with all the different people. I liked scrimmaging with the amputee team. I liked the drills because they were challenging and fun and exciting.
I participated in the power soccer UASA camp in 2023 and it was [phenomenal]! I got to learn so much about the sport I love, how to improve my game, and support fellow soccer players in the US! I hope to do it again sometime soon!
Attending the UASA camp in San Antonio in December 2023 was a truly eye-opening experience. Seeing various forms of adaptive soccer and being part of this event expanded my perspective beyond just amputee soccer, and I’m now eager to be involved in future events. The organization was excellent, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it!
The inclusive environment helped every player feel comfortable and encouraged them to embrace their abilities. Additionally, we had the opportunity to interact with players with various disabilities and learn more about different disability soccer communities. UASA camp was a fantastic experience.
The inclusive environment created a sense of understanding, and [my son] not only felt included but also thoroughly enjoyed learning a new sport. We are eagerly anticipating the exciting future of UASA. Initiatives like UASA align with my passion as a mother and former teacher, and we just don’t run into programs like this one often, if ever.
The entire weekend served as a profound inspiration, and we are genuinely thankful for the experience. We look forward to being a part of UASA’s journey.
