Marc Burkom to Represent UASA at Sports Philanthropy World 2026

United Adaptive Soccer Association (UASA) Board Member Marc Burkom will represent the organization at Sports Philanthropy World 2026, taking place August 3–5 in Washington, D.C.

Marc will contribute to two sessions focused on expanding opportunities for athletes with disabilities through adaptive sports:

• Adaptive Sports: Creating Opportunities for the Future – Inclusion Track panel session
• Adaptive Sports Roundtable – an interactive discussion exploring how organizations and communities can strengthen adaptive sports opportunities and partnerships.

As a UASA Board Member and long-time advocate for adaptive sport, Marc will join leaders from across the sports, nonprofit and philanthropy sectors to share perspectives on creating more inclusive pathways into sport and increasing access for athletes with disabilities.

Sports Philanthropy World brings together nonprofit leaders, sports organizations, foundations, athletes and industry professionals from around the world to explore how sport can create lasting social impact.
